BBL: Ross Taylor, Mohammad Hasnain, and Will Smeed are among the final batch of players confirmed for the BBL draft on Sunday. The total number of registered players to 332.

Hasnain is eligible for retention after playing with Sydney Thunder last season. The final is one of two more players in the group who received nominations shortly before the close of Sunday. Fellow Pakistani Fakhar Zaman is the second player to play a game for Brisbane Heat in the 2021-22 edition.

Pakistan represents most of the additional names in the draft. And includes Test opening duo Abdullah Shafiq and Imam-ul-Haq as well as middle-order white-ball Khushdil Shah.
Taylor has now retired from international cricket. These could be an interesting option if a team is looking for an experienced batsman. As he does not have any conflicting deals at the moment.

Sameed is a high-class young English batsman with a strike rate of 146.23 in 52 T20Is and recently became the first player to score a century in a men’s hundred. They have already garnered global interest and signed an ILT20 deal with the MI Emirates in January.
Of the 332 players lined up for the draft, 28 are eligible to remain at clubs that played in the previous season. The first 12 players are part of the Platinum list, which was announced on Monday, while the rest are in the Gold, Silver, and Bronze categories.
A maximum of 24 players will sign during the draft, with clubs choosing a minimum of two and a maximum of three.
