The Indian team will be on West Indies tour next month. In such a situation, Avesh hopes that he can return to the team. He played his last match for India in October 2022. Avesh said that if you compare my last two IPL seasons, it was the way I wanted.
Avesh Khan said –
“This season has not been good according to me, still I have maintained my economy rate which is less than 10. I used to bowl in the crucial 4th or 5th over and later in the death overs. It can be difficult for fast bowlers to maintain rhythm throughout the season between different formats. He said that after playing for the Indian team, playing domestic cricket again is mentally very disturbing.”
Avesh Khan still regrets his act after throwing away his helmet after Lucknow Super Giants beat Royal Challengers Bangalore in a close IPL match in Bengaluru. After this he was badly trolled on social media. Talking about this incident, Avesh said – “The helmet incident was a bit excessive. I realized later that I shouldn’t have done that. I feel sad now that I did not want to do all these things.”

Avesh told that Gautam Gambhir told him that –
“He wants me to bowl as fast as possible, even if I give 60 runs in four overs, he doesn’t mind. I have worked on a few things and one thing is clear, now I know what not to do while bowling. I watched all my videos and tried to understand where I was wrong.”
