BCCI President Roger Binny in trouble due to Mayanti Langer, know the whole matter

Roger Binny in trouble: Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Ethics Officer Vineet Saran has sent a conflict of interest notice to President Roger Binny. Saran has sought a written response from Binny by December 20 against the allegations of conflict of interest leveled against him.

Complainant Sanjeev Gupta made the following allegations :-

Complainant Sanjeev Gupta has alleged that Binny is conflicted as his son’s wife Mayanti Langer works as an anchor for Star Sports channel. Star Sports holds the media rights for the domestic season of Indian cricket.

According to the news agency PTI, it was written in the unobtrusive notice that, you are informed by notice that the Ethics Officer under Rule 39 (2) (b) of the BCCI Rules and Regulations, Rule 38 (1) (i) by the BCCI And a complaint has been received for contravention of rule 38(2). represents a “conflict of interest” on your part, in accordance with the said rules.”

Roger Binny in trouble: Binny will have to answer in writing on December 20: –

Vineet Saran wrote in the notice, “You are hereby directed to file your written response to the enclosed complaint on or before 20/12/2022. The said response should be supported by a duly executed affidavit.”

Roger Binny’s daughter-in-law is Mayanti Langer :-

Let us tell you that Stuart Binny’s father is Roger Binny and Mayanti Langer is his wife. Roger Binny was part of the 1983 World Cup-winning Indian team. In October he replaced former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly as the 36th president of the BCCI. Binny took the maximum 18 wickets in the 1983 World Cup. He has also served as the selector of the Indian team.
