BCCI starts preparations for women’s IPL, seeks applications from interested parties to buy franchise

Women’s IPL: The Board of Control for Cricket in India has started preparations for the Women’s IPL. The BCCI has invited applications from interested parties to buy and operate franchises in the league.

The auction of the franchise will be done only after the application of this parties. After this, in the player auction, the franchisee will buy the players and form their own team, which will play in the league.

Women’s IPL: The first season can be played from March 3 to 26 :-

The first season of the Women’s IPL can be played from March 3 to 26. After this, the IPL of male players will be played. The BCCI said “The Board of Control for Cricket in India announces the issue of inviting tenders for the right to own and operate a team in the Women’s Indian Premier League.”

“The Governing Council of IPL invites bids from entities to acquire the right to own and operate a team in the Women’s Indian Premier League through a tender process.”

Will have to buy the form by January 21: –

Any company or group that wants to buy a franchise will have to buy the form by January 21. Its cost will be five lakh rupees and this form will not be returned. Any interested party who wishes to submit a bid is required to purchase the ITT.

December 31 was the last date for buying forms to bid for the media rights of the Women’s IPL :-

BCCI also clarified that mere purchase of this form will not entitle any party to bid. To participate in the bidding, each party will have to fulfill the criteria set by the BCCI.

BCCI reserves the right to cancel or modify the bidding process at any stage at its discretion. At the same time, the last date for buying forms to bid for the media rights of the Women’s IPL was December 31, which has expired.
