Afridi put pressure on religion conversion: Former Pakistan spin bowler Danish Kaneria has accused former captain Shahid Afridi of pressurizing him for religious conversion. Kaneria was the second Hindu player to play for Pakistan and he has played 61 Test matches for Pakistan, in which he took 261 wickets.
Kaneria said while talking to a TV channel :-
Danish Kaneria said in a conversation with a TV channel, “My career was going very well and I was also playing county cricket. Inzamam-ul-Haq and Shoaib Akhtar were the only two players who always supported me, but Shahid Afridi. He used to harass me a lot. He and other players would never eat dinner with me. Afridi also put pressure on me to convert.”

‘Being a Hindu, PCB never supported him’ :-
Danish Kaneria said, “Sanatan Dharma is supreme for me. If anything wrong happens, I raise my voice against it. Many such cases come in Pakistan, but are not reported. I have always supported the Hindu community. “Fought for.”
Danish Kaneria also spoke openly on the allegations of spot fixing against him:-
Kaneria also talked about the spot-fixing allegations against him. He said, “I was accused of spot-fixing while playing in the county. I admitted that I had only met the bookie and did nothing more. But I was pressurized to admit to spot-fixing. Being a Hindu, Because of this the PCB did not support me.”
