There is no sign of any less problems for the Indian team in the ongoing five-match Test series against England. Virat Kohli was out of the first two matches due to personal reasons. Mohammed Shami was already injured and after the first match, Ravindra Jadeja and KL Rahul were injured and ruled out of the second match. Now the news is that Ravindra Jadeja may not be fit even till the third test match. Apart from this, there has also been an update on Virat Kohli.

Ravindra Jadeja may be out of the third test also :-

The Indian team, which has lost the first match of the series, would like to make a comeback in Vizag because it will be very difficult for the Indian team to make a comeback after losing the second test. According to the report of Cricbuzz, Ravindra Jadeja will take time to recover from his hamstring injury and due to this he may be out of the third Test also. Usually, this type of injury takes four to 8 weeks to heal.

Big update on Mohammed Shami also:-

Sources also say that if he becomes fit for the fourth Test to be held in Ranchi from 23 to 27 February, it will be a great thing. In the recent media release of BCCI, it was said that he will be out of only the second test match.

Apart from Jadeja, Mohammed Shami’s injury is also not good right now. He is troubled by ankle issue. He is in London and there is no update on his surgery yet, so it is doubtful that he will play in this series.

Still a big question on Virat Kohli :-

As far as Virat Kohli is concerned, there is silence everywhere and BCCI itself has requested for confidentiality. Cricbuzz also refrained from delving into the reasons behind Virat’s absence, but did point out that the star batsman is currently out of the country, raising a question mark over his availability for the remaining matches. However, the BCCI had initially announced that his exclusion was only for the first two Tests.

KL Rahul can make a comeback in the third test:-

KL Rahul’s injury is not as worrying as that of other players and indications are that he may be ready for the third Test starting on February 15. According to BCCI, Rahul had complained of pain in his right quadriceps related to the thigh surgery he underwent in 2022. It is understood that the BCCI has taken precautions considering that he is one of the key batsmen in the team. He is currently at the National Cricket Academy (NCA), just like Jadeja.
