Jasprit Bumrah, BCCI update: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has released the medical and fitness updates of five Indian players, who are currently undergoing rehab at the NCA in Bengaluru. BCCI has informed that Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has started bowling practice in the nets.

What is the condition of the injured fast bowlers?

Jasprit Bumrah and Prasidh Krishna are in the final stages of their rehab and are bowling with gusto in the nets, the release said. The BCCI said, “Both the fast bowlers are in the final stages of their rehab and are bowling with full gusto at the nets.” Both the players will take part in some practice matches organized by the NCA. The BCCI medical team is happy with his progress and will give their final verdict after the practice match.

BCCI issued an update on the fitness of KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer :-

BCCI has appointed KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer. Gave an update on his fitness as well. “Both the batsmen have started batting in the nets and are currently undergoing strength and fitness drills,” the board said in a release. The BCCI medical team is satisfied with his progress and will focus on increasing his form and strength in the coming days.

BCCI has also issued an important update on Rishabh Pant. The board said in a release, “Rishabh Pant has made a lot of progress in his rehab and has started batting and wicketkeeping practice in the nets. He is currently following a fitness program that is made for him. It includes strength, flexibility and running.
