BPL 2024: PCB again cheated its players, Mohammad Haris had to return from the airport

BPL 2024, Mohammad Haris: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) remains surrounded in controversies every day. PCB is now being accused of cheating one of its players.

PCB refused to give NOC at the last moment :-

Actually, batsman Mohammad Haris wanted to play in Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2024 but the board refused to give NOC (No Objection Certificate) at the last moment. Haris had reached Bangladesh and due to lack of NOC, he had to return to Pakistan from Dhaka airport itself. He was going to play for Chattogram Challengers franchise in BPL. The franchise itself arranged for Haris’ return ticket.

According to media reports, Haris had sought NOC from PCB. He got permission to go to Bangladesh to play in BPL. He arranged for a flight on January 17 and the PCB said he would be given the NOC on January 18. But after reaching Bangladesh, PCB refused to give NOC to Haris. The board said that he has played in two franchise league tournaments since July 2023. The PCB also refused to bear the expenses of his return flight. In such a situation, Haris’ franchisee booked his return flight home.

Let us tell you that after this incident, 22-year-old Haris shared a story on Instagram, in which she wrote with the travel bag, ‘Homecoming.’ After Haris’ post, Pakistani cricket fans took the PCB to task on social media.

Many people said, ‘Pakistan Cricket Board has done a very shameful act.’ At the same time, many said that Haris was first thrown out of the team and then not being allowed to play anywhere. Haris made his international debut in June 2022 and has played 6 ODIs and 9 T20s so far. He played his last match for Pakistan in September last year.
