Australia all-rounder Cameron Green has officially confirmed his availability in the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 mini-auction. The auction is scheduled to take place on December 23 in Kochi, Kerala. Green confirmed his participation in the top-tier league auction on Cricket.com.au’s ‘Unplayable’ podcast. The Australian all-rounder believes that the experience of the tournament will help him grow as a player in the shortest format.

Green was quoted as saying by cricket.com.au

“I’ve registered for it. It’s going to be an exciting opportunity. Talking to a lot of people, especially in WA (Western Australia) talking about their experiences in the IPL, they talk a lot about it. They talk about quality. The coaches that you are around, the quality players that you are around. They are the best in the world at their craft.”

Green further said – “It’s a craft I haven’t been too familiar with. I’m open to learning as much as I can and it’s probably one of the best environments to learn in. In T20 cricket, you’re meeting the ball ” So far in front of you, you get all that excitement.”

As of now, the 23-year-old Cameron Green is in full swing preparing for the upcoming West Indies Test series starting on November 30. Trap under the guidance of his father, Gary.

Cameron added – “I had a few sessions on the bowling machine, basically trying to change my contact point.”
