South African fast bowlers Kagiso Rabada and Lungi Ngidi have started preparations for the Boxing Day Test match against India. South Africa head coach Shukri Conrad expressed hope that India will fail to win the ‘final frontier’ of their Test campaign. Rabada was rested from the limited overs series against India due to a heel injury. Ngidi was ruled out of the T20 International due to a left ankle injury.
Rabada and Ngidi are practicing with full vigor :-
Rabada and Ngidi were in full swing during the team’s net session at the SuperSport Park ground on November 23 afternoon. Where he was facing experienced batsman Dean Elgar. Elgar has announced his retirement after this series.
The pitch at Centurion is conducive for fast bowlers but India had performed better than South Africa at this stadium on the last tour. Conrad said that their main fast bowlers will be fresh and will bowl with full strength.

Conrad said on the first day of the team’s practice session :-
“They (Rabada and Ngidi) will be fresh and aggressive,” Conrad said on the first day of the team’s practice session. I always believe in players who remain fresh.” Both experienced bowlers will enter this match without any match practice but the coach is not too worried about it.
He said, “It would have been good if he had got a chance to play in domestic matches, but this is life. Everyone has to find a way. I am not worried that they will play against India without match practice.
