Aakash Chopra Selected The Indian Team For The T20 WC Based On The Performance Of The IPL 2022
Aakash Chopra has selected the Indian team for the T20 World Cup based on the performance of the Indian Premier League 2022.
The Big Players not included:-
This team of Aakash Chopra does not include big players like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Rishabh Pant, and Ravindra Jadeja.

In the video released on his YouTube channel, the former Indian batsman has said that assume that the World Cup is not to be held in October-November but from tomorrow.
Along with this, he also said that he has not considered the reputation of the players while choosing the team.
Chopra has selected KL Rahul and Ishan Kishan as the team’s openers. He said, ‘The first name that I will put in my team is KL Rahul.
This year also he scored more than 600 runs:-
He can bat for 15-17 overs. He scores a lot in T20s. This year also he scored more than 600 runs.
I have kept Ishan Kishan with him. If you look at his numbers, it has not been a bad season for Ishan Kishan.
Cricketer-turned-commentator Chopra has picked Rahul Tripathi and Suryakumar Yadav to bat at numbers three and four.
Chopra said, ‘Number three times I will keep Rahul Tripathi. He plays very well at this number. I have placed Suryakumar Yadav at number four. He didn’t play all the matches but all the matches he played at a different level.
He has also chosen Pandya as the captain of the team:-
Chopra has roped in Hardik Pandya and Dinesh Karthik as the finishers. Along with this, he has also chosen Pandya as the captain of the team.
Chopra said, ‘After this comes the number of the best player of the tournament for me. I have chosen Hardik Pandya as the captain of the team. He can play in the middle order and can also play the role of a finisher.
After this, I have also given a place to Dinesh Karthik. He is also my wicketkeeper. His strike rate has been between 180-190 and he has also finished many matches.
I have Placed Krunal Pandya at number 7:-
Chopra has preferred Krunal Pandya as the spin bowling all-rounder from Ravindra Jadeja and Axar Patel. Aakash said, ‘I have put Krunal Pandya at number seven and there is a very big reason for this.
Aakash is an economical bowler and has scored good runs at crucial times. He can play anywhere in the batting order. You need a left-handed batsman in the middle-order.
Krunal took 10 wickets in IPL 2022 while bowling at an economy rate of 6.97. However, he did not play very well with the bat and scored 183 runs at an average of just 20.33.
In the bowling, Yuzvendra Chahal, Mohammed Shami, Avesh Khan, and Arshdeep Singh have been kept as their four main bowlers. To complete his 16-man squad, he has kept Sanju Samson, Deepak Hooda, Kuldeep Yadav, Harshal Patel, and Jasprit Bumrah.
