Yusuf Pathan has entered the second phase of his career. He made a bang entry into politics. In the Lok Sabha elections 2024, Yusuf Pathan contested from Baharampur seat on a Trinamool Congress ticket from West Bengal.
He defeated five-time Congress MP Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury by a margin of 85022 votes. The voters of Baharampur gave 5,24,516 votes to Yusuf Pathan.
Yusuf Pathan has played a total of 79 international cricket matches. In these 79 matches, he has scored 1046 runs at a strike rate of 119.68. This includes 3 half-centuries and 2 centuries.
