After being retained by RCB for Rs 7 crore before IPL 2022, Siraj conceded 514 runs in 15 matches and took only 9 wickets.

“I did really well in the last two seasons of the IPL, and it is the same Mohammad Siraj who could not do much this season. This is the phase that comes in the life of every player.

If one’s graph doesn’t fluctuate, it becomes really sluggish. A good career is always full of ups and downs,” Siraj told ANI.

“Arshdeep is a great fast bowler, the way he bowls his yorkers is fantastic. Umran is a genius who is being appreciated for his amazing speed. I would like to advise them to focus on their fitness and not think too much about anything else.”

India and South Africa will face off for the T20I series in Delhi from June 9, 2022.

As Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma have been rested from the series, Team India will be led by KL Rahul as well as Rishabh Pant as the vice-captain.
