Asia Cup 2023: Sanju Samson will not attend the NCA camp for Asia Cup. Sanju Samson is likely to miss the Asia Cup 2023 camp to be held at the National Cricket Academy from August 24.
Indian Players Will Tour Sri Lanka For The Tournament:-
The camp will serve as preparation for the Indian players who will be part of the Asia Cup squad that will tour Sri Lanka for the tournament.

If Sanju Samson is selected for the Asia Cup, he may join the camp in the last 2 days.
After the conclusion of the West Indies tour of India, the core squad of players will return to India as Team India begins its preparations for the Asia Cup.
Indian Cricket Team will Visit Ireland To Participate in the T20 Series:-
On the other hand, the team will visit Ireland to take part in the 3-match T20I series. Jasprit Bumrah will lead the Indian cricket team on this tour and Rajasthan Royals wicketkeeper Sanju Samson is also a part of the team.
A senior BCCI official told Sport, “Bumrah will be in the camp after a two-day break, the camp will be for the Asia Cup team.
If he is selected for the Asia Cup, he will report to the camp only for the last two days. Sanju will need a break after the Ireland series. There will be a lot of matches and travel in a short period of time.”
On the other hand, Jasprit Bumrah, who made his return from a long injury lay-off and made his international debut against Ireland, will get a two-day break before joining the NCA camp for the Asia Cup.
