Prithvi Shaw, retained by Delhi Capitals ahead of the IPL 2022 mega auction, earned Rs 7.50 crore only to buy a luxurious house in Mumbai. But the cost of this house bought was Rs 10.5 crores.

Shaw is known for his quick batting in the IPL. This is the reason why Delhi Capitals retain him in the team every time.

He lost his mother at a very young age. His father has always been the backbone behind his sporting journey.

There was a time when he used to take the 6 am local train to Bandra to play at the famous MG Ground. Now he has his own flat in the same area.

Prithvi Shaw bought a house worth Rs 10.5 crore in Mumbai:-

Fast forward to 2021, Shaw was retained by Delhi Capitals on the basis of his performances between 2018-2021. He scored 1,305 runs in four seasons at a strike rate of 145.62 including 10 half-centuries.

But after that, Prithvi moved to Bandra from living in a small house in Virar. Buying a home in Mumbai has never been affordable. The batsman had to shell out Rs 10.50 crore to buy a house in Bandra.

The carpet area is 2,209 sq ft:-

Shaw’s flat is on the eighth floor of a building named 81 Orate. It is one of the most luxurious residential properties in the entire city. The carpet area is 2,209 sq ft while the terrace area is 1654 sq ft.

Shaw has some of the coolest cars in his garage. To assist him, three parking slots have been made available for him.

The house has a breathtaking view of the Bandra-Worli Sealink and the Mumbai skyline. Significantly, Shaw had paid a stamp duty of Rs 52.50 lakh for his four-bedroom house.
