The Australian team has been announced for the ODI series (IND vs AUS ODI Series) to be held between India and Australia (IND vs AUS).

Pat Cummins will lead the Australia team in this ODI series starting on March 7. Many star players have returned in Australia’s 16-member squad.
These include the names of all-rounder Glenn Maxwell, Jhye Richardson, and Mitchell Marsh. On the other hand, fast bowler Jose Hazlewood has not been included in the team due to injury.

Pat Cummins will lead Australia during the three matches, while veteran batsmen David Warner, Steve Smith and Marnus Labuschagne are also expected to feature.
According to chief selector George Bailey, the series will serve as a warm-up for Australia ahead of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup to be held in India later this year.
The World Cup is just seven months away:-
“With the World Cup just seven months away, these matches in India are an important step in our preparation, Glenn, Mitchell and Jhye are all key players we think the team can have come October,” Bailey said.
The first ODI between Australia and India is in Mumbai on March 17, with the remaining two matches in Vizag (March 19) and Chennai (March 22).
