IND vs AUS Test Series 2023: Australian fans agitated by the change in the pitch on the orders of Rahul Dravid. The first match of the Test series against India and Australia (IND vs AUS 2023) (IND vs AUS 1st Test) will be played in Nagpur on 9 February.

Head coach Rahul Dravid was not happy with the Nagpur Pitch:-

At the same time, the head coach of Team India (Indian Cricket Team) Rahul Dravid was not happy with the Nagpur pitch. He has made some changes in the pitch (Nagpur Pitch) on the last occasion.

Rahul has made changes to the pitch for spin bowling and has also watered the pitch in the block outside leg stump for left-handed batsmen.

The pitch prepared by the VCA for the first Test match was not conducive to the spinners. At the same time, the Indian team needed a turning pitch.

He has made changes to prove helpful to R Ashwin and other spin bowlers against left-handed batsmen.

Faster bowling will make the Pitch rougher around from that Point:-

Rahul is there to help the spinners and make the pitch more rough. Whereas the wet spot on the pitch will become soft and as the match progresses the surface will be loose and fast bowling will rough up the pitch around that spot.

Significantly, this pitch will prove dangerous for the right-handed batsman on the outside of the leg stump for the left-handed batsman and the ball will also spin from the same place.

However, on such a pitch, a spinner like Ashwin can be dangerous for Steve Smith, Marnus Labuschagne and other batsmen.
