Warner Also Indicated His Availability For The Champions Trophy:-

Let us tell you that a few days ago he had announced his retirement from Test also. However, after his retirement, David Warner has also indicated his availability for the Champions Trophy.

However, Warner has left the door open for his return to ODIs, hinting at a possible return to the Champions Trophy.

Speaking to reporters while announcing his retirement, the left-handed batsman said that if he is playing good cricket, and will be available when he is needed for the Champions Trophy in two years away.

“I know the Champions Trophy is coming and if I am still playing good cricket after two years and they need someone, I will be available,” Warner said.

David Warner has a long association with controversies. In the test series played with South Africa in 2018, three Australian players were found guilty of ball tampering. In which David Warner’s name was also included.

After this Australia Cricket also banned Warner for two years. Now after retiring from ODI and Test cricket, Warner will continue playing T20 cricket. After which David Warner will be seen playing in the T20 World Cup 2024.
