ILT20 League: Babar Azam turned down a Rs 4 crore offer to play in the ILT20 league. Pakistan cricket team captain Babar Azam is likely to be ruled out of the second season of the upcoming International League T20.
There is also a plan to make them brand ambassadors:-
Babar has turned down a big offer of ILT20 (ILT20 2024) like Rs 4 crore. Looking at such a huge offer, it seemed that there was a plan to make him the brand ambassador as well.

But now Babar can be seen playing in the Bangladesh Premier League.
Pakistan captain Babar Azam had some issues with his image rights and payment structure in the ILT20 league, due to which he turned down such a huge offer.
After this Babar Azam can play in Bangladesh Premier League, which is to be played from January 2024 at the same time.
However, earlier Pakistani players were not allowed to play in the inaugural edition of ILT20. But this time many Pakistani players are ready to participate in ILT20.
Pakistani Players were not allowed last Year:-
Pakistan Cricket Board i.e. PCB did not allow Pakistani players to play in the first season of ILT20 last year.
Although this time many star cricketers are participating in this league. Players like Shaheen Shah Afridi, Shadab Khan, and Azam Khan are named in this list. The upcoming season of ILT will be played from January 19 to February 18.
Shaheen Afridi got a huge amount:-
Pakistan fast bowler Shaheen Afridi has been picked by Desert Vipers for the upcoming season of ILT.
He has been signed for a whopping amount of $400,000 and this does not even include the amount for image rights. Although Shaheen has also become the highest-paid Pakistani player till now.
