BCCI Central Contracts: The BCCI gave a blow to KL Rahul. First kicked out from the team, then used scissors on his pocket. KL Rahul, the former vice-captain of Team India, is not taking the name of abating.
Rahul was removed from an A grade and put in a B grade:-
BCCI’s annual contract has given another big blow to Rahul. The board has removed KL Rahul from the A grade and put him in B grade. Earlier, he was placed in Grade A from October 2021 to September 2022.

At the same time, BCCI has fixed 4 different grades for the annual contracts of the players (BCCI Central Annual Contracts).
Players with an A+ grade will be given 7 crores every year, 5 crores for A grade, 3 crores for B grade, and one crore rupees for C grade players.
That Cost Him His Vice-Captaincy:-
Even in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia, KL Rahul could not do anything special. Because of which he had to lose his vice-captaincy.
Due to his poor performance in the first 2 matches of the series, this responsibility was taken from him. Along with this, he was also dropped from the playing XI in the last 2 Test matches against the Kangaroos.
He got Rs 5 crore from the board in the season:-
Last season, he got Rs 5 crore from the board, but now he will have to settle for Rs 3 crore.
BCCI Central Contracts: KL Rahul scored 20 runs in the first innings of the Nagpur Test against Australia, 17 runs in the second, and then got out after scoring 1 run in the last.
KL Rahul has failed to score more than 23 runs even once in the last 10 Test innings.

Rahul, who captained Team India on the tour of Bangladesh, had to lose his vice-captaincy from the Test team after T20 and ODIs due to poor performance.
