The announcement of the new selection committee and Cricket Advisory Committee taking over was put on hold. But now both are in one place.
At the same time, T20 captain and vice-captain Hardik Pandya and Suryakumar Yadav are expected to get the most promotions.
A senior BCCI official told InsideSport on Saturday, “Yes, there has been a slight delay due to the elections and the selection committee. The last discussion has already been done. It should be out by next month.”
While the BCCI discussed new contracts during the Apex Council meeting in December, it was put on hold for the new selection committee to take over.
A big decision can be taken regarding Wriddhiman Saha:-
The senior players were not in favor of the big discussions. That’s why a big decision can be taken regarding Ajinkya Rahane, Ishant Sharma, and Wriddhiman Saha.
The good news is that Suryakumar Yadav and Hardik Pandya will get promotions. Please tell that Hardik Pandya is currently in Grade B.
But they can now be included in Grade A. Because after Rohit, he is taking charge of the T20 team while Surya is also expected to shift to Grade A.
There will be no change in Grade A+, which includes Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah and KL Rahul.
Please tell that, Shubman Gill is currently running in excellent form at this time this player is part of grade C and now it is believed that Gill will join grade A. While Grade C will feature Umran Malik and Ishan Kishan along with some new players.
A senior BCCI official said, “Yes, it is under consideration. See, every 5 years the annual salary increases. The salaries of our players are also being increased.
With as much cricket as possible at the moment, I think the players deserve it. But it is a collective decision and everyone has to come together. But if you compare it with the wages in England, our players earn more than match fees.”

- A Plus Grade (Rs 7 crore): Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah, Rohit Sharma.
- A Grade (Rs 5 crore): Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Rishabh Pant, KL Rahul, Mohammed Shami.
- B Grade (Rs 3 crore): Cheteshwar Pujara, Axar Patel, Shardul Thakur, Shreyas Iyer, Mohammed Siraj, Hardik Pandya
- C Grade (Rs 1 crore): Shikhar Dhawan, Umesh Yadav, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Washington Sundar, Deepak Chahar, Shubman Gill, Hanuma Vihari, Yuzvendra Chahal, Suryakumar Yadav, Mayank Agarwal.
