DC Coach Ricky Ponting said – The Team Needs Some Rhythm To Return

IPL 2022: DC head coach Ricky Ponting feels he has got some momentum to get his campaign back on track in the Indian Premier League as his team is so good that the results will be favorable to him.

Three wins in the first seven matches of this season:-

Delhi Capitals are currently at the seventh position in the points table after three wins and four losses in the first seven matches of this season.

Ponting (DC Coach Ricky Ponting) said about the first leg of the season, “I said this earlier also this year that 36 or 37 overs we play well but only lax in two or three overs.”

IPL 2022: He said, “The same problem is creating a difference in the match. We are not only preparing ourselves to change the outcome of the first leg of the season but are also trying to create a way forward.

I’m Hoping to Get a bit of a Rhythm:-

Our (Delhi Capitals) journey till now has been winning, sometimes losing, and then winning. So, we hope to get a little bit of momentum.”

Ponting (DC coach Ricky Ponting) said that players will have to play comfortably in the second phase as their team is good and can get favorable results.

“I know we are very close to turning things around,” he said. We all have to believe, we have to believe, we have to stay upbeat and stay positive. If we manage to do that, things will definitely change for us.”

IPL 2022: Ricky Ponting said before the match against Kolkata Knight Riders on Thursday, “The harder we try from here, the more we move forward.

Ponting went on mandatory five-day isolation as a precaution after a member of his family tested positive for COVID-19.
