Bairstow played for Punjab Kings in the IPL 2022 season. He scored 253 runs in 11 innings at a strike rate of 144.57.

Because it is the situations that you have gone through in the past, be it in the IPL, one-day cricket, or the first red-ball cricket that you can call for the evening,” Jonny Bairstow.
