Fans Expressed Displeasure Over Sanju Samson Not Getting A Chance in The 2nd ODI

IND vs NZ 2nd ODI 2022: Fans expressed displeasure over Sanju Samson not getting a chance in the 2nd ODI. Samson did not get a chance in the playing XI of the Indian team in the second ODI between India and New Zealand in Hamilton.

Deepak Hooda included in playing XI:-

Samson has once again been overlooked despite a good performance in the first ODI. Deepak Hooda has been included in the playing eleven in his place.

At the same time, when Sanju Samson got a chance after a long wait, he did not get a chance in the second ODI against New Zealand, after which the fans expressed their displeasure on the social media and took a dig at Captain Dhawan and Rishabh Pant.

Sanju Samson did not get a chance even for Bangladesh tour:-

In the first ODI, Samson scored 36 runs in 38 balls while Pant managed only 15 runs in 23 balls. At the same time, Sanju Samson has not got a chance for the Bangladesh tour.

While he got a chance in the T20 series against New Zealand but was not included in the playing XI. There was a lot of criticism about the decision to make him sit out.

IND vs NZ: From fans to some cricket veterans have also expressed their displeasure over giving repeated chances to Rishabh Pant in place of Sanju Samson in Team India.

Samson is deprived of every match:-

Pant has been running out of form for a long time. Despite this, he is being given opportunities again and again while Sanju Samson is deprived of every match.

Earlier in the Asia Cup and then in the T20 World Cup also, the selectors did not repose faith in Sanju Samson. At the same time, the fans believe that dirty politics is playing against Samson. Due to this, he is not being given equal place in the team.

Sanju, who made his T20 debut in 2015, has missed out on opportunities. While Samson has played just 16 matches since 2015, Pant has played more than 65 matches since making his debut in 2017.
