Akash Chopra has shared a video on his official YouTube channel, in which he said that ‘Shreyas Iyer is a good player.

He scored a century in his debut match against New Zealand and also scored runs in the second innings. But in my opinion, Shreyas Iyer still has a lot to prove as a Test batsman.

Aakash Chopra said that Shreyas played very well in Bangladesh as well. There is no doubt that he plays spin very well.

However, there are two things that could define his career. The first is the swinging ball and the second is the bouncer.

It’s Too Early To Call Him Captain:-

Regarding making Shreyas Iyer the captain, Akash Chopra said that ‘until he becomes proficient in both these things, it is difficult to say whether his Test career will progress or not.
