Born on 14 October 1981 in Delhi, Gautam Gambhir started playing cricket at the age of just 10. Only one would know that when Gambhir was just 18 days old, his maternal grandparents adopted him.

After this, his whole life has been spent in Nanihal. Then made his debut for Team India at the age of 22 and started his career in 2003 with one-day match against Bangladesh.

He made his debut in Test cricket in 2004. Gambhir made many records in his career, he was such a cricketer of India who also did some such feats which even Sachin-Sehwag could never do.
