Happy Birthday Indian bowler Shardul Thakur, his full name is Shardul Narendra Thakur Thakur was born on 16 October 1991 in Palghar, Maharashtra, Shardul Thakur is celebrating his 31st birthday today.
Shardul is an Indian international cricketer. He is a medium pace, fast bowler. He plays first-class cricket for Mumbai.

Thakur’s Domestic Career:-
Shardul made his first-class debut for Mumbai against Rajasthan in Jaipur in November 2012–13 in the Ranji Trophy. His career did not start well as he took four wickets in his first four matches at an average of 82.0.
In the 2013–14 Ranji season, he took 27 wickets at 26.25 in six matches, taking five wickets once.
In the 2015-16 Ranji Trophy final, he took eight wickets against Saurashtra and led Mumbai to their 41st Ranji Trophy title.
Initially, he was criticized for lack of height for a fast bowler (he is 5’9″). And for a while he was overweight (83 kg), but he eventually became the best fast bowler in Mumbai’s domestic cricket. Went.
Shardul IPL Career:-
Thakur was signed by Kings XI Punjab in the 2014 IPL player auction ahead of the 2015 season of the Indian Premier League and made his debut against Delhi Daredevils with a wicket in his four overs.
In March 2017, he was acquiring by Rising Pune Supergiants for the tenth season of the IPL. And in January 2018, was bought by Chennai Super Kings ahead of the next season.
He was the leading wicket-taker for his team Chennai Super Kings, taking 21 wickets in the season.
he was buying by Delhi Capitals in the auction of the 2022 Indian Premier League tournament.
His International Career:-
He was naming in India’s 16-man squad for India’s Test tour of the West Indies in 2016. But did not play.
In August 2017, he was naming to India’s limited overs squad for the series against Sri Lanka. He made his One Day International (ODI) debut against Sri Lanka on 31 August 2017.
Shardul recorded his first five-wicket haul in Test matches. And also recorded the best bowling figures for an Indian bowler against South Africa.

His figures were 7/61, which helped India bowl out South Africa for 229 runs. He also provided a quick cameo of 28 runs to help extend India’s lead in the second innings. Although India lost the match. Thakur’s match figures were 8/108.
