ICC ODI Rankings: ICC has updated the ODI team rankings, now India (Team India) has become the No. 1 team in ODI cricket (ICC ODI Team Rankings) along with T20. The Indian team, under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma, had a stellar performance in ODIs.

Under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma, India won the third ODI against New Zealand by 90 runs in Indore. Earlier, India had clinched the series, winning the third match and whitewashing the team. India made big gains in the rankings after winning the first match in Hyderabad, second in Raipur, and third in Indore. India has now become the number 1 team in ODIs along with T20s.

ICC ODI Rankings: Loss to New Zealand, India reaches top

India had tied New Zealand and England on rating points by winning the second match in Raipur. Before the third match, England was on top, New Zealand was second and India was third. All three teams had 113 rating points. After winning the third match, India came on top with 114 rating points. England’s reign ended, they finished second and New Zealand lost 2 points. New Zealand has slipped from third to fourth position with 111 rating points.

The Indian cricket team is also at the top of the T20 rankings along with ODIs. India is first after 267 rating points, while England is also second in T20 after 266 rating points. Indian team is second in the Test rankings. India has 115 rating points, while Australia, which holds the first position, has 126 rating points. Australia will tour India next month, starting February 9 for a four-Test series between the two.
