ICC T20 WC 2022: Sunil Gavaskar gifts the signed cap to Pakistan captain Babar Azam. Pakistan captain Babar Azam met former Indian captain Sunil Gavaskar.

Gavaskar Gifted a cap signed by him:-

Sunil Gavaskar gifted Babar a cap signed by him during a special dinner party held at the farmhouse of Pakistan team mentor Matthew Hayden.

Gavaskar said after this private event, “This is my linen cap which I present to very few people.

I was even invited to dinner:-

It was a birthday present for Babar yesterday at Hayden’s farmhouse where the culinary team had come and I was invited for dinner as well.”

Babar, who turned 28 on October 15, celebrated his birthday with various captains of the T20 World Cup 2022.

The special occasion was observed on the same day as Media Day for all the captains of the participating countries. On that occasion a special cake was brought for the Pakistani captain by the captain of the host country.

Pakistan lead to T20 World Cup title:-

Babar Azam has entered the T20 World Cup in quick form with the bat. He led Pakistan to their second T20 World Cup title.

And would expect to do better in his 2021 T20 World Cup performance. Last year, India defeated Pakistan in the T20 World Cup.

Pakistan will start their campaign against India on Sunday, 23 October.
