In which the name of Karnataka Cricket Association and former player Roger Binny will be officially announced as the new President of BCCI.

Current president Sourav Ganguly has been ousted and the new body will be elected at the annual general meeting in Mumbai on Tuesday.

A BCCI official confirmed to Sport that no name will be proposed for ICC President Rolle, although it is item number 8 on the AGM agenda today.

The last date for nominations for the ICC is till Thursday. The general consensus in BCCI is that this time the Indian board will not forward anyone’s name.

A source told The Telegraph, “A change can be considered only when someone from the BJP high command decides to step in. Otherwise it is almost final that no one is being considered.”

The Finalization of Women’s IPL

• Replacement in Indian Cricketers’ Association for Anshuman Gaekwad and Shantha Rangaswamy.
• The new ICA representatives will be on the BCCI Apex Council.

The last date for nominations for the top ICC post is October 20. The ICC Board will meet in Melbourne from November 11 to 13.

There were a lot of discussions not only in sports but also in political circles about Ganguly’s departure from BCCI and now it will be interesting to see whether this former captain’s name is considered for the top post of ICC or not.
