Azam Khan sustained a Grade 1 muscle strain in his right calf during a training session ahead of the first T20I at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. He underwent a scan which confirmed the injury, and has been advised 10 days of rest.

Now Undergo Rehabilitation At The National Cricket Academy
Azam will now undergo rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy, and is expected to be available for the upcoming series against Ireland and England, which will take place after the New Zealand series and before the World Cup.
The first T20I of the series against New Zealand was washed out due to rain, while Pakistan won the second match by 7 wickets. The third match of the series will be played in Rawalpindi today.
