IND vs NZ: Ajay Jadeja now raised questions on Rahul Dravid taking a break. People are divided over Dravid’s decision to take a break after the T20 World Cup for the limited-overs series against New Zealand.

Jadeja also gave a statement regarding this:-

Some former players are questioning the need of taking regular breaks from the game. Now Ajay Jadeja has also given a statement regarding this.

Former India captain and coach Ravi Shastri had earlier raised this issue and now one of his teammates Ajay Jadeja has also questioned that, unlike players.

Coaches do not require breaks as they can rest when the Indian Premier League is being played.

The official broadcaster said on Prime Video:-

“Coaches don’t need a break,” Jadeja said on Prime Video, the official broadcaster of the New Zealand series in India.

He said, ‘In IPL you get a break of two or two and a half months. I mean they are my friends. Dravid has been a great cricketer for India.

It’s a job you do for a few Years:-

I mean, no disrespect to them. But it’s a job that you do for a few years and you give it your all as players.”

It was recalled that Dravid wanted to stick with the Test team as there was little time between the New Zealand series and the Bangladesh tour. Jadeja said, “There will be players who are going from here to Bangladesh and there is a difference of four days.”
