The Team’s command was handed over to Rishabh Pant:-

Now the command of the team has been handed over to Rishabh Pant in his place. Apart from captain KL Rahul, spinner Kuldeep Yadav has also been ruled out of this series due to injury.

The stand-in captain suffered an injury during India’s second practice on Wednesday and was dropping from the team for the England tour as a precaution. Rishabh Pant will captain in his absence.

He has an injury to the joints on the right:-

The BCCI said in a statement. “Team India captain KL Rahul was ruling out of the T20I series. Aginst South Africa, with a right side joint (Groin Injury).

Whereas Kuldeep Yadav was ruling out of the T20I series last evening after injuring his right hand while batting in the nets.

Now KL Rahul will also be another big absence apart from Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Jasprit Bumrah. Ruturaj Gaikwad and Ishan Kishan will open for India with the dismissal of KL Rahul. However, the BCCI is yet to seek a replacement.

Team India’s Press conference got delaying:-

Due to this reason, the press conference of Team India on Wednesday was delaying. Rishabh Pant is likely to attend the press conference now. Hardik Pandya was appointing as the vice-captain of India.
