A senior player of Team India wants the team management to appoint former India fast bowler Ajit Agarkar in place of the present bowling coach Paras Mhambrey.

IND vs SL 1st T20: Paras Mhambrey was appointed as part of Rahul Dravid’s set-up with him taking over in November. He worked closely with the team during India’s development and during the NCA days.

The report said senior players are an important part of the decision-making process and want Agarkar to continue as bowling coach at least until the 2023 World Cup.
Currently, India’s bowling coach is former India fast bowler Paras Mhambrey, who has joined the team along. With Rahul Dravid in place of Bharat Arun.
