IND vs WI, 1st T20: Rohit Sharma Record: Indian captain Rohit Sharma has become the highest run-scorer in T20I cricket. He has made this record after beating New Zealand opener Martin Guptill.

Guptill had overtaken Rohit Sharma two days ago :-

Martin Guptill had beaten Rohit Sharma by scoring 40 runs against Scotland just two days ago, but now once again Rohit Sharma has become the T20 King.

Rohit Sharma achieved this record in the first T20 against West Indies. In this match being played at Brian Lara Stadium, Tarouba, the captain of the host team, Niklos Pooran, won the toss and elected to bowl first.

Rohit Sharma again became the highest run-scorer in T20I cricket, leaving Guptill behind :-

IND vs WI, 1st T20: Sharma overtook Martin Guptill for the highest run scorer in T20I cricket as soon as he scored 21 runs in this match against West Indies. With this, the Indian captain has become the first player to cross the 3400-run mark in this format. Rohit has scored a half-century in this match and he is still batting.
