IND vs WI T20 Series 2022: The BCCI Announces For T20 Series Between India And West Indies

IND vs WI T20 Series 2022: The BCCI announced the squad for the T20 series between India and West Indies on Thursday.

Under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma, there are 17 players in the squad. Arshdeep Singh has been included in the squad while Umran Malik has not been included in the squad.

Rahul and Kuldeep’s places will be decided on the basis of fitness:-

Lokesh Rahul and Kuldeep Yadav are doing rehab to regain their fitness. While Rahul has recently returned from Germany after undergoing surgery, Kuldeep Yadav is also working hard to regain fitness at the NCA after his injury.

Both these players have been included in the squad but the BCCI has made it clear that the final decision will be taken on their playing only on the basis of their fitness.

Team India will go in a chartered plane from Manchester:-

IND vs WI T20 Series 2022: After the England tour is over, Team India will leave for the Caribbean tour instead of returning to India from here.

The team will go in a chartered plane. This is so that the risk of corona infection can be reduced. Before the T20, a 3-match ODI series will be played between the two countries.
