Indian Team Batsman Prithvi Shaw Returns To The Team After A Long Time

Ranji Trophy 2024: Indian team batsman Prithvi Shaw returns to the team after a long time. Shaw was struggling with his fitness for a long time. Actually, due to a knee injury, Prithvi was away from the cricket field for a long time.

Prithvi Shaw Has Passed The Fitness Test:-

After which now Prithvi Shaw is completely fit and can return to the cricket field soon. National Cricket Academy (NCA) Bengaluru has passed the fitness test of Prithvi Shaw.

For a long time, Prithvi had been exercising and practicing to keep himself fit. At present, Prithvi is practicing in the nets at NCA itself.

There May Be A Comeback in This Match:-

Prithvi Shaw is part of the Mumbai team in the Ranji Trophy. Now Mumbai’s next match in Ranji Trophy 2024 will be played with Kolkata from February 2. According to reports, Prithvi Shaw can be seen playing in this match.

Prithvi is returning to first-class cricket after 6 months. Prithvi suffered a knee injury while playing a match for Northamptonshire in the year 2023.

After which Prithvi was out of the team. Before the injury, Prithvi was in amazing form, he had played brilliant innings of 244 and 124 runs.

Mumbai Cricket Association Was Also Informed About Shaw’s Fitness:-

According to reports, BCCI officials confirmed that Prithvi Shaw is now completely fit and can participate in the Ranji Trophy. BCCI has also informed Mumbai Cricket Association about Prithvi Shaw’s fitness.

Prithvi Shaw played his last international match for the Indian team in the year 2021, after which he was not included in Team India.

Till now Prithvi Shaw has played 5 Tests, 6 ODIs, and one T20 match for Team India. Prithvi has 339 runs in his name in Test cricket, while in ODI he has scored 189 runs with his bat.
