Indian Team will Go On Bangladesh Tour Next Year

BAN vs IND: The Indian team will go on a tour of Bangladesh next year, and the schedule of the ODI-Test series continues. Before the Indo-Pak match in the T20 World Cup, the BCCI has taken a big decision.

Indian team three ODIs and two test matches:-

Team India will tour Bangladesh next year i.e. in 2023 where the Indian team will play a series of three ODIs and two Test matches.

At the same time, this information has been officially announced. Actually, the team will reach Bangladesh on 1st December. In such a situation, this tour will start with the first ODI to be played on December 4.

Team India before going to Bangladesh:-

BAN vs IND: Team India will go on a tour of New Zealand after the T20 World Cup. There will be three T20s and three ODIs from November 18 to 30.

After that there will be a tour of Bangladesh. There on December 4, the ODI series will start in Mirpur. At the same time, the first Test match will be played in Chittagong on 14 December.

BAN vs IND: India will tour Bangladesh after seven years. He last went there in 2015. BCB President Nazmul Hasan said, “Bangladesh-India matches have given us some of the best competition in recent history.

Fans of both the countries are eagerly waiting for another memorable series. I thank the Board of Control for Cricket in India. We look forward to welcoming the Indian team to Bangladesh.”

ODI matches will be played at Dhaka’s International Stadium

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced the tour schedule on Thursday, stating that Dhaka will host all three ODIs and one Test and Chattogram will host the second Test. Both the Tests will be part of the ICC World Test Championship.

Test matches will be played under Test Championship

BAN vs IND: Actually for India, both the Tests against Bangladesh will be very important. For the team to make it to the final of the Test Championship, it is now necessary to win almost every single match. For this reason, the team has to show its great game.

Team India has not gone on Bangladesh tour since 2015

Team India has not toured Bangladesh since 2015. The only Test on the tour in 2015 was a draw, while the three-match ODI series was won by the hosts 2–1. Now next year in 2023 after the World Cup at home, Team India will go on a tour of Bangladesh.

BCCI secretary Jay Shah said

At the same time, BCCI Secretary Jay Shah has wished the best for Team India. He said that I wish Bangladesh Cricket Board all the best for the upcoming bilateral series against India.

The India-Bangladesh match generates tremendous interest among the fans of both the teams. We know how passionate the fans are in Bangladesh and I am sure they will face some exciting encounters in both white-ball and red-ball cricket.

Talking about the Test record between India and Bangladesh, so far 11 matches have been played between the two teams. During this, Team India has won nine Tests in its name.

At the same time, two matches have been draws. Both the teams have faced each other 36 times in ODIs. India has won 30 matches. Bangladesh has got success in five. There was no result in one match.

• December 4 – 1st ODI, Dhaka
• December 7 – 2nd ODI, Dhaka
• December 10 – 3rd ODI, Dhaka
• 14 to 18 December – 1st Test, Chattogram
• 22 to 26 December – Second Test, Dhaka.
