He did not reach Pune with Hardik Pandya & Co. Sanju is being looked after by the BCCI medical team and he also went for a scan on Wednesday.
Sanju was trying to take a catch:-
In the first match against Sri Lanka, Sanju was trying to take a catch by diving. During that time his knee was injured.
However, if Sanju is out of the series, then Rahul Tripathi can be given a chance in his place. On the other hand, Tripathi has been selected for Team India many times but could not find his place in the playing XI.
