Team India’s all-rounder Deepti Sharma single-handedly defeated the England team. Deepti wreaked havoc first in batting and then in bowling and played an important role in the victory of Team India. Sharma looked absolutely on the front foot in this match.

Sharma showed her all-round performance in the test match against England. While batting, Deepti scored 20 runs in the first innings and 67 runs in the second innings.

After this, while bowling, Deepti took 5 wickets in the first innings and then 4 wickets in the second innings. Overall, Deepti took 9 wickets in this match.

Deepti bowled very dangerously in the first innings. Only 7 runs were spent in bowling 5.3 overs. Due to her brilliant performance, Deepti was also chosen as ‘Player of the Match’.

The historic Victory Of Indian Women’s Team:-

The Indian women’s team had gained the lead over England from the first innings itself. Team India had scored 428 runs after losing 10 wickets in the first innings. In response to this, the England team was bundled out for just 136 runs.
