The Strict on Players for Misbehaving:-

IPL 2023: Delhi Capitals impose strict ‘code of conduct’ on players after their player misbehaved with a woman during an IPL franchise party.

The guests will need permission to enter the rooms of the players. Also, no guest will be allowed to meet after 10 pm.

According to Indian Express, Delhi Capitals have issued a code of conduct for all franchise players and staff following their win over Sunrisers Hyderabad.

The DC Player misbehaved with a woman at a Party:-

Rules are set in place to maintain the image of the franchise after an incident. Actually, the DC player had misbehaved with a woman in a party.

Now the Delhi Capitals have barred acquaintances from being allowed into players’ rooms after 10 pm.

Entry to the room requires obtaining permission from the IPL Team Integrity Officer along with photo ID.

Otherwise, players are free to meet their guests, but it must be in the team hotel’s restaurant or coffee shop.

Delhi Capitals implemented a code of conduct:-

• No acquaintance will enter the rooms after 10 pm.
• Allowing acquaintances will require photo identification and permission from the IPL team’s integrity officer.
• The players have to inform the franchisee while leaving the team hotel.
• Wives and girlfriends are allowed but at their own expense

• Players have to inform the franchise officials before their family members join the squad.

• All players have to compulsorily attend the programs of the franchise

• Any breach may result in fine or termination of the contract

Delhi Capitals, however, has allowed wives and girlfriends to travel with the team. However, the cost of this will have to be borne by the players.

They will also have to give prior information about their family joining the team. Players will also have to inform when they leave the team hotel to meet someone.
