In this auction (IPL 2023 Auction), Sam Karan was bought by Punjab Kings for a record-breaking price of ₹ 18.5 crore, while Cameron Green and Ben Stokes were also bought for a hefty amount.

Green was bought by Mumbai Indians for ₹17.5 crores, while Nicholas Pooran was bought by Lucknow Super Giants for ₹16 crore.

Pooran Played for Hyderabad This Year:-
Pooran played for Sunrisers Hyderabad this year i.e. 2022, but was released by the franchise after his disappointing performance in IPL 2022.

Pooran could not do much in the T20 World Cup as West Indies were ousted in the first round under his captaincy. The two-time world champions suffered heavy defeats against Ireland and Scotland.
