According to a report in cricket.com.au, Hazlewood is expected to play in the later stages of the T20 tournament. It is being told that he is currently recovering from an Achilles problem.

The report states that Hazlewood will consult with Cricket Australia’s medical staff before taking a decision on participating in the IPL. If this happens, he can miss half the season.

The 16th season of the Indian Premier League 2023 (IPL 2023) will start on 31 March 2023. Its final will be played on 21 May.

The first match will be between defending champions Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings on March 31 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
