IPL 2023: Suryakumar Yadav’s statement before the match against Chennai. Yadav said – coming back to Wankhede felt like homecoming. Mumbai Indians will play against Chennai Super Kings at their home ground Wankhede for the first time in IPL after the year 2019.

Before the match against Chennai, Suryakumar Yadav said, “When I returned to Mumbai Indians in 2018, it felt like homecoming where everyone welcomes you. That’s what I felt.
I reunited with the franchise after a short break:-
It was a very different feeling when I came on the ground for the first time and I was a regular here when the stadium was built.
I played domestic matches, played age group matches, and then came the IPL. I was in Mumbai from 2011 to 2013. In 2018, I rejoined the franchise after a short break.”
Suryakumar Yadav further said “After entering the stadium, I felt really special again and I felt that if I want to play continuously in front of this amazing crowd in this beautiful stadium then I have to work very hard.
I have to put in quality efforts and I have been working hard since then and never looked back.”
