A report in London’s The Time has claimed that some of the top IPL franchises are trying to convince six England players to give up international cricket and play in the T20 league for a year.

The franchisee’s name is not disclosed:-

These IPL franchises have teams in different leagues around the world. Including the CPL (Caribbean League), South Africa T20, Global T20 League (UAE), and the upcoming Major League (USA). The name of any player and franchise has not been revealed in the report.

These top stars will be offered contracts worth around £5 million. Equivalent to Rs 50 crore, almost five times the value of top-tier English central deals.
