The BCCI Announces Annual Player Retainership 2022-23. The Board of Control for Cricket in India on Thursday announced the annual player contracts for Team India (Senior Women) for the 2022-23 season.

The Grade structures are as follows:-

“The Board of Control for Cricket in India on Thursday announced the Annual Player Contracts for Team India (Senior Women) for the 2022-23 season,” read a BCCI press release.

Cricketers who retain their place in Grade A will earn Rs 50 lakh annually while cricketers in Grade B and C categories will earn Rs 30 lakh and Rs 10 lakh respectively.

In a landmark announcement early last year, BCCI secretary Jay Shah had said that the match fees for both men and women would be the same.

Match fees will be the same for both male and female cricketers as we enter a new era of gender equality in Indian cricket.

“Women cricketers will be paid the same match fees as their male counterparts. Test (INR 15 Lakh), ODI (INR 6 Lakh), T20I (INR 3 Lakh).
