DY Patil 2024: Ishan Kishan will return to DY Patil tournament cricket. Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Ishan Kishan has decided to return to cricket soon after BCCI gave an ultimatum to the players with central contracts to play Ranji Trophy.
DY Patil Decided To Withdraw From The Tournament:-
The 25-year-old player has decided to withdraw from the DY Patil tournament with his mindset to skip the last round of the Ranji Trophy starting from February 16.

According to Dainik Bhaskar’s report, Kishan, who has been away from cricket since December, decided not to participate in the Ranji Trophy due to lack of preparation.
Kishan Left The Indian Camp Midway During The South Africa Tour:-
On the other hand, Ishan Kishan left the Indian camp midway through the South Africa tour after complaining of mental fatigue due to continuous traveling.
Since then, the BCCI and the Indian team management had no information about Kishan’s availability.
Head Coach Rahul Dravid Also Gave A Statement:-
Meanwhile, head coach Rahul Dravid also stated that Ishan Kishan’s selection will be considered after he plays competitive cricket. Despite this, the wicketkeeper-batsman did not play a single Ranji match for Jharkhand.
According to Dainik Bhaskar’s report, Kishan took a break from cricket to spend time with his family as he had been with the team for a long time.

Currently, Ishan Kishan is practicing with Hardik Pandya and Krunal Pandya in Vadodara. Recently, a video of his practice also surfaced on social media.
