IND vs ENG 3rd Test Series 2024: KL Rahul is out, what is the condition of Ravindra Jadeja? The third Test match of the series will be played between India and England in Rajkot from 15 February.
Devdutt Padikkal Was Added To The Indian Squad in His Place:-
Before this match, Team India got a shock on Monday and KL Rahul was out of the team. Devdutt Padikkal has been added to the Indian squad in his place.

Now the question is that Rahul is out but what is the condition of Ravindra Jadeja? Let us tell you that both Rahul and Jadeja had to be ruled out of the Visakhapatnam Test.
Both of them got a place in the squad for the last three Tests but the matter depended on their fitness. Now that Rahul is out of the Rajkot Test, fans are getting good news related to Jadeja.
BCCI Issued A Press Release And Said:-
Regarding KL Rahul’s fitness, BCCI issued a press release on Monday saying that he is 90 percent fit now but he will be declared 100 percent match fit only after he is completely fit by the medical team.
That means he can be fit till the fourth and fifth tests. On the other hand, nothing was written in this release for Ravindra Jadeja, but on Monday, pictures were released in which Jadeja was seen practicing with the team.
He joined the team in Rajkot and also practiced batting. That means, to a great extent, he seems fit and can be seen playing the match at his home ground in Rajkot.
Rahul is out and there is suspense regarding Jadeja. Meanwhile, a BCCI source told PTI on condition of anonymity, ‘KL Rahul has not reached Rajkot yet.
His Case is Still Subject To Fitness:-
Local boy Ravindra Jadeja has joined the team. His case is also subject to fitness. Nothing can be said until the BCCI medical team is completely confident about him.
In the Visakhapatnam Test, Team India had given a chance to Mukesh Kumar in place of Mohammad Siraj along with Jasprit Bumrah. Kuldeep Yadav came into the team in place of Ravindra Jadeja. Also, Rajat Patidar got a chance to debut in place of KL Rahul.

Now Iyer is out and so is Rahul and the debut of Sarfaraz Khan is considered confirmed. Apart from this, if Jadeja returns then Kuldeep Yadav may once again be sacrificed. Because the team has another Gujarat spinner Akshar Patel who can get preference in Rajkot.
