The T20 World Cup will be played in the West Indies and the United States from June 4-30 next year. England Cricket Board has tweeted this information. Pollard has also coached Mumbai in the IPL.

This will be the first big responsibility in international cricket for Kieron Pollard. In April 2022, he took retirement from all formats of cricket. In the IPL, he has been associated with Mumbai Indians as a batting coach since last season.
Now Pollard has been included with the team for the tournament to be held on West Indies soil. On the recent West Indies tour, the world champion team had to face defeat by 2-3 in the T20 series.

There was a time when the West Indies team had a clear dominance in the T20 format, in which Kieron Pollard has also been a part of the T20 World Cup winning team twice.
Along with playing 101 T20 International matches, Pollard has played a total of 637 matches in this format so far, and he will also be seen playing in the upcoming season of PCL.
