BCCI’s selection committee was criticized:-

The BCCI selection committee has been criticized for selecting Cheteshwar Pujara as the vice-captain for the upcoming two-match Test series against Bangladesh (IND vs BAN).

However, Rahul has broken his silence on Pujara’s “criteria” for choosing the vice-captain ahead of Pant.

Pant was including along with Jasprit Bumrah and Rahul in the list of players who were to be groomed as future captains of India under Rohit’s captaincy.
